Letter from the president

Welcome to Panhellenic Council of Greek Life at Saint Leo University! My name is Maggie Sroka and I have the privilege of being the President of the College Panhellenic Association here on campus for the 2019 year! We represent three outstanding national sororities and one fantastic local sorority, as well as contribute to the progress of Greek Life here at Saint Leo.

Joining Greek life at Saint Leo has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college career thus far, and many women will tell you the same thing. Even though the letters we wear may be different, we all strive for the same goal -- excellence. Each Panhellenic organization is comprised of women that not only are leaders and strive for excellence within their sororities, but they also strive for excellence in their other endeavors. Many Greek women are Residents Assistants, Orientation Leaders, Club Presidents, Student Government Union Senators, just to name a few things.

The organizations here are so unique, comprised of individualistic, hard-working women who support and encourage you. I encourage you to get to know as many wonderful women in the Panhellenic Association as possible, as well as each organization's values, philanthropies, and sisterhood. I encourage you to go out for recruitment, attend informationals, ask questions, and be engaged in becoming something bigger than yourself that will last a lifetime.

Greek Life is not always easy, but it is rewarding. You will become a  better version of yourself, surrounded by a community of women who support you and want nothing but the best for you. If you have any questions or just want to talk about Greek Life, you can reach out to me (margaret.sroka@email.saintleo.edu), any member of the Panhellenic Executive Board, or Krystal Sanchez, our Greek Life advisor.

Wishing you the best in adding another chapter to your story,

Maggie Sroka
